Wallowa Valley Arts Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
established over 30 years ago. It continues today to help promote the
visual and performing arts in Wallowa County and surrounding areas. We sponsor events which include: The Festival of Arts, Missoula Children’s Theatre, Youth Arts Festival, The Quick Draw, Wallowa County Cultural Trust Coalition, Artists in the Schools Project and Arts, The Bowlby Arts Group, Wallowa Mountain Quilter's Guild, The Arts Center of the Wallowas.

The following events are financed and supported by WVAC:

WVAC hosts a night of “Quick Draw” and desserts to reward current paid up members. The members also get the opportunity to enjoy, for one year, a piece of art from the “Art in the Wallowa's” revolving collection. This event is available to the public.

The first weekend in June, the "WALLOWA VALLEY FESTIVAL OF ARTS" is held at Joseph Community Center. There is a $25 charge for Friday night, which includes a free commemorative wine glass, hors d'oeuvres, wine, music and viewing great art.
